Understanding the various delivery options is essential for a smooth experience for your buyer. At StubHub, sellers can choose from four delivery methods: Mobile Transfer, Mobile ticket, PDF, and Physical. The availability of each one depends on the event. Below is a comprehensive guide to the types of delivery methods and how to deliver them.
1. Mobile transfer: URLs and external transfer
This is the most frequently used method for events, where tickets musst be displayed on a smartphone. There are three types of Mobile transfer tickets:
- Single URL/Token: the original marketplace emails a single link for all seats, which provides access to a QR code that can be saved to a digital wallet (e.g.., Google Pay, Wallet Pass, Passwallet, Apple Wallet)
- One seat, One URL: the original marketplace emails a separate link for each seat, each providing a QR code for a digital wallet.
- External Mobile Transfer: tickets are delivered through a third-party app (venue, performer, or ticketing app). Typically, you can transfer tickets by entering the other person’s email.
2. Screenshot: mobile tickets
In some cases, the original marketplace delivers QR tickets through a third-party app that does not allow transfer. If the QR is static, you may take a screenshot and pre-upload it to your listing or upload it to your sale. Do not take screenshots of PDF files. If the transfer is allowed, you must list your tickets as Mobile Transfer.
3. Electronic: PDF
List your tickets in this category if you have a PDF file. You can pre-upload the file to your listing or upload it to your sale. Pre-uploading may increase your chances of a quick sale.
4. Physical: Paper, bracelets, or any hard copies
This includes all tickets that need to be mailed to the buyer. This method is less common. Buyers will need to provide an address, which will be shared with you for mailing.
